Bobcat skid steer 443 Skip loader digger Kubota engine

  

For sale is my Bobcat Skidsteer. It is a 443 model. I bought it last year to help me do a self build extension on the back of my house and do some landscaping. It has been great at moving earth and loading rubble into skips etc saved me a lot of time and saved my back from more abuse!

I have now finished the extension so no longer need the Bobcat hence its now up for grabs. It has served me well and I hope it will now find a good new home. It is a honest vehicle and has had plenty of use, it is strong and has plenty of life left. It has a good engine and starts every time. I had it serviced/checked over after I bought it (partly to check if I had bought a good one or not) and it turned out I had lucked in.

I have only had to replace one belt and one hose during my ownership. I treated it to a good dose of rewireing after Christmas as the umbilical cable that connects the cab to the engine had seen better days. I have not resprayed it or tried to do any cheap cosmetic upgrades as I believe a vehicle like this is designed to be a work horse.

If you are like me you would rather be able to see the true history of the vehicle and be able to spot any nasties that may be present rather then them being hidden under a fresh coat of paint etc. (Im not aware of any nasties with this vehicle). Fits down tight spaces as not very wide. Can easily lift 100s of kg into skips etc. Tyres are worn so acted as a roller when I was compacting hardcore/aggregate for new RC slabs. New LED head lights fitted.

Good for working during the winter. I have a comprehensive maintenance manual for the Bobcat. Happy to throw in a metal fuel can with the last of my diesel in.

Tyres are worn so ok if you are on hard standing, grass, firm mud etc but no good if you want to drive across deep wet mud. I was going to replace the tyres with more aggressive tractor style treads but found that the benefit of being able to use the skidsteer to compact ground like a roller (and not churn up the garden when I drove across it) was better than the negative of not always being able to drive it through the worst bits of wet mud I had onsite. I find it perfectly comfortable.
